2008 F&F Plantation Afternoon Dove Hunt

Cost is $500.00 per person
(Cost includes shells, drinks and one dinner following hunt)

Reservations Required

Dove Hunt Itinerary:

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Sign-In/Safety Briefing
(Georgia-Style boiled peanuts and sweet tea provided)

2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Dove Shooting

5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Drinks and Snacks at the Refuge Lodge

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. Southern Style BBQ at Refuge Lodge

Helpful Hints:

1. Georgia state regulations will apply. All hunters must have a valid Georgia hunting license. If you do not have a valid Georgia hunting license, one can be obtained on-line at www.gohuntgeorgia.com or you may acquire them in person at many local hardware or sporting goods stores.
2. Stand location will be determined by lottery at sign-in.
3. Our hunt is usually a good 20 gauge hunt, but please restrict shot size to #6 or smaller in any gauge. Automatic shotguns are fine, but remember Georgia regulations do apply.
4. Some type of seat or dove stool and a way to carry shells is very helpful.
5. Camo clothing will increase your opportunity to shoot. In lieu of camo, tans, browns and earth tones are best.
6. Hunter's orange is not required and will reduce your shooting opportunities.
7. Also, other items to remember; bug spray, sun screen, shooting or sunglasses, small gun oil.

As always the Fins and Feathers Staff will be on hand to take care of any needs you may have before the hunt, in the field, and after the hunt.
