Hunting and Quail Season are Here! 

The weather has turned cooler, the land at F&F has never been in better shape for hunting and quail season opens on October 1.  F&F is a special place to hunt quail. Many of you have fond memories of great hunts and beautiful landscapes from our previous four years of operation. For those of you that love to hunt quail, please join us and enjoy F&F often during our last season of operation.

We have more advanced bookings for quail hunts in October 2008 than any previous year of our existence. Please book your hunts early to get the dates and times you want. Deer and hog hunting remain available, but quail hunting has been our most popular attraction by far.

WE WILL HAVE ONE DOVE HUNT THIS YEAR ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13 IN THE AFTERNOON. The cost is $500 per person and includes shells, drinks and a dinner after the hunt. Reserve your slots now as our dove hunt has sold out every year and will again this year. We have moved it to a cooler month to make it even better for our clients.  (Check Hunting Section for more details).

The month of October also offers great fishing options at F&F, including tarpon, trout and redfish. Tarpon fishing should remain strong through mid-October. The trout fishing has turned on in the past two weeks and has been excellent. October will likely be our last month to sight fish for reds, and marsh hen hunting is a great compliment to sight fishing for the reds.Call Ronnie to book a fishing trip to compliment your quail hunt. (Click on Fishing for more information on fall fishing opportunities). 

The following guides will be conducting hunts at F&F this season: Ronnie Chambers, Jamie Nettles, Marc Chambers, Michael Chambers, Chris Boyd, John McCloud, Barry Smoake, Bobby Ray and Mitch Stevens. Scott Dykes will continue to provide guiding services for fishing only. Should you have preference, please discuss with Ronnie or Paola when making your reservations.
